Screenshots of websites and web-based brochures
produced by Rock Spyder Design Group & Revolution Mind
The thumbnail screenshots below show two pages from each site and illustrate some of the sites designed. Clicking each image will open an enlarged pop-up of that image in a new window.

The quality of print and some colour reproduction has been compromised by manipulating image sizes for this portfolio. Where the site is still available on the internet, a hyperlink has been provided, but please read the comments in this regard - some sites have been modified in ways that are not supportive of my vision.

Please bear in mind that some of these sites were developed for viewing on older computers with smaller screens and lower resolution than is common today.
This is the most recent website in support of the book "Your Life Manual: Practical Steps to Genuine Happiness. It has been designed to maximize search engine visability and continues to be tweaked to enhance keyword recognition. It is a simple site, constructed with no frames to confuse Search Engines, but with table layout that puts the "meat" at the beginning of the code to enhance search engine results.

This is a hobby site which has been on the Internet in several guises since 1995. It currently draws a large number of visitors from around the wall.. Constructed using frames, also using the "no-frames" component for Search Engine visibility. It includes a small database to serve the data for the "Rock Roll of Honor".

This site is really obsolete, maintained merely to support software still being marketed in South Africa under the Ambrose Consulting name. The inclusion of information about the book, are merely there to help with search engine ranking.

A simple small site mainly used to disseminate annual reports and other financial information to shareholders of this investment company. The design includes a "page-at-a-time" delivery, requiring no scrolling at the default screen resolution.
>>> This site is live, although some aspects have been changed by others since the original design - it can be viewed here. <<<
This was an Automotive battery guide supplied on CD-ROM and as an application for customers, providing additional information such as a step by step battery jump-start video (seen in the second screenshot). An innovative project using a number of unusual "tricks".
A starter site for this automotive harness manufacturer. The site no longer exists.
A detailed, database driven site for one of South Africa's largest franchise operations. The site is now considerably changed, but the original backend database and coding is still operational, and the opening Flash animation is still there.

A revolutionary design with the navigation links on the left. This site uses the same database as the Battery Centre site above. The person who took over maintenance found it difficult to cope with the strange design and opted for a more traditional look - losing interesting design features along the way.

An earlier version of the site above. The newers site provided more functionality and easier searching.
Essentially a (low budget) company and product overview for this innovative mining measurement company.
>>> This site is live, although it has been completely revamped by one of my protégés - it can be viewed here. <<<
Rock Spyder Design Group site ... no longer exists.
